Key Request Form 2013 - OBSOLETE USE 2014 FORMS

Thu Feb 21, 2013 1:12 am

REVISION 7/18/13 - Due to some misunderstanding, we have revised the Key Request Form to read more clearly - please use this form from this date on.

Keys are issued to PROPERTY OWNERS ONLY, UP TO FOUR (4) KEYS PER 1¼-ACRE (+/-) PARCEL: one key per owner per deed per parcel number. If a lot has been split into quarters, one key per parcel number can be issued, no matter how many owners.

The seller doesn't have to buy a key before selling the parcel but you should ask the seller if they did obtain a key for the parcel you are purchasing. If they did, then they need to transfer that key to you when sold. You can contact us to find out if a key has been issued for a parcel. If no key has been purchased, then you, as property owner, can purchase one for that parcel.

This is the form you will need to complete and submit along with your payment of $25.00 per key. The Key Request Form lists all documents that need to be submitted to obtain a key for your property, contact information, etc. The key fee includes Florida Sales Tax, certified mailing costs, gate and lock maintenance fees.

Well, I guess that's better than a single one being split that many times. Still sucks. But then again, they are swamp lots so it's not like someone is going to try to build something on it.
Would be interesting to see just how many times you "could" split one.
